Merits Health has designed the S341 Pioneer 10 with the idea to create a stable and safe ride for each individual. It is a 4-wheel model with 12.5-inch flat free casters. Furthermore, the model provides a weight capacity of 500 pounds which differentiates it from numerous mobility scooters in the market.

Even though it allows a maximum speed of 6 mph, the company has combined this feature with a maximum range of 32 miles, turning radius of 62” and a ground clearance of 4”. This way, users will not only be granted with speed but also with efficiency.

With the combination of DC 24v, 400w motor; 12V/Group 24(70AH-80AH) batteries; and a 6A off-board charger; the Scooter not only looks attractive but also provides an attractive ride.

S341 Pioneer 10 is available in red color and comes with several additional accessories such as oxygen tank holder, foldable rear basket and canopy. There is a possibility to adjust the seat and tiller angle for a more comfortable ride. Also, the scooter can be set to freewheel mode.

                  Adjustable and comfortable

Because of the wide range of users of the S341 Pioneer 10, Merits have dedicated attention to create a unique product suitable for different kinds of people and users. For that cause, they have included adjustable features such as:

                  Adjustable seat

When it comes to the seat, there are two adjustment possibilities. First of all, each user can adjust the backrest angle depending on his/her needs. Another option is to adjust the seat swivel position (the seat swivel leveler allows 45 degrees rotation).

                  Adjustable armrest

Speaking of the armrest, there are also two available adjustments: armrest height and armrest width. The height of the armrest can be easily changed by loosening the clamping nut at the rear of the handle and turning the bolt to lower the angle to the user’s desired position. The armrest width can be changed by loosening the clamping nut and pooling the armrest in or out according to the user’s needs and wants.

                  Adjustable Tiller Angle

The angle of the tiller allows each user to position the dash as far as they want to, in order to provide better access to the controls. So, no matter if you prefer to be closer or further away from the controls, the S341 Pioneer 10 can be designed to suit all of your needs.

                  Freewheel Mode

Apart from the adjustable features, this model has a possibility for activating freewheel mode as well. This allows the use of the scooter without the need of power. Yet, when the scooter is in freewheel mode, the brakes cannot be activated. So, as a user, make sure you activate this mode only for short distance relations (for example when you wish to push your Scooter instead of driving it).

                  Safe and secure

This Scooter is designed in order to provide full stability and security. For that cause, the frame is designed to be one piece and allow full strength and support. In addition to this, Merits have included several features which improve the safety of using the S341 Pioneer 10.

                  Status indicator

If the Scooter is on and all conditions are normal, the status indicator will glow green. However, if there comes a situation which requires special attention, the Status Indicator is designed to inform the user about the condition.

For example, if the battery needs recharging, the battery voltage is too low or too high, there is a speed pot error, a motor volts error etc., the indicator will show a specific code regarding each of these problems.

The status indicator repeats the code every 2 seconds, so even if you don’t see it the first time, you will be warned once again, repeatedly until you fix the issue.

                  Speed Control

The speed control permits each user to set the maximum speed of driving. This feature allows beginners to set the speed control at the lowest level while learning to operate the Scooter. As time goes by and the user feels more comfortable with riding the Scooter, he/she can adjust it to his/her needs.

                  Indicator Switch (Turn Signals)

The indicator switch is used to inform everyone around you for your maneuvering (left or right).

In addition to the indicator switch, you can inform others of your presence or draw attention by simply pressing the horn button.

                  Brakes and Throttle Control Level

The brakes of the Scooter are electromagnetic, regenerative ones. More exactly, they are automatically activated with releasing the speed lever. There are two types of brakes.

The first one is used when the user releases the speed lever a little bit in order to decrease the speed of driving. When the speed lever is completely released the scooter is in park mode and cannot be furthermore moved.

                  Batteries and Charging

The S341 Pioneer 10 Scooter is equipped with two 12V/Group 24(70AH-80AH) batteries which don’t require any special attention apart from appropriate charging.

However, once you purchase the scooter the batteries will not be fully charged, consequently, you will not get the full experience from the scooter. In order to provide full battery life, it is highly recommendable to charge your batteries once you get this model.

When you are charging the batteries, you first need to turn off the power of the scooter and plug the charge cable into an outlet.

                  Battery Level Indicator

The battery level indicator shows the charge level of the batteries. More specifically, if the LEDs are green, the batteries are fully charged; if the LEDs are yellow the batteries are somewhere in the middle of their battery life; and if the LEDs are red, you must instantly charge your scooter.
